C Low and Beddafi Green [DEBATABLE]

Recap: Gates of the Garden co-owner C Low has been putting in work as a battler for a minute now. And through the use of feisty punchlines, a consistent flow, fiery (“So pay attention, I learned a head shot can get you more views than main venting!”) gun bars and real street jargon, Low almost always offers a solid performance such as this one against a punch-heavy and vigorous Beddafi Green, where in addition to the aforementioned arsenal, Low displays some witty personals to come back and force a tie in the deciding 3rd round after the two split the first two.

Verdict: TIE

Favorite line: Beddafi Green – “This is what you get when you call me out, you ain’t know that I walk around with rounds that could take a whole army out, or I’ll put a hawker out, mark your whole body down, zig zag across your body, now you Charlie Brown!”

J Murda defeats C Low

Recap: Mixing in a fiery performance with his string of stinging braggadocio quips, potent struggle bars and transparent gun lines, a pent-up J. Murda beats back the mostly standard punches of C Low.

Verdict: J Murda (W) 1-0

Favorite line: J Murda – “Fuck what you heard, ‘cuz y’all souped him and now that’s what the guy sip!”

Prep defeats C Low

Recap: Prep survives a solid, punch-heavy turn by C-Low with a nice rebuttal and a couple of alright freestyles, but mostly a spirited name-flip, personal, gun-friendly and lyrically adept frenzy that overtakes his opponent and wins this one-round battle from Gates In The Garden.

Verdict: Prep (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Prep – “Wet his shirt like I’m trying to expose an informant!”

D.O.T. defeats C Low

Recap: Sleeper battle between D.O.T. and the New Jersey reppin C Low as a competitive matchup is decided by the 3rd round, what with Low edging round 1 with better bar (“I’ll leave you O-Solo [oh so low] with this Tek-9, and slam your cap to the floor like you just spit a T-Rex line”) potency, while D.O.T. got the 2nd by displaying more (“I’m in your bitch C Low!, whether you ace or not  cuz around 1, 2 or 3…regardless D.O.T. [dot] in her box!”) versatility along with a nicer overall performance. The final round sees C Low continue to put on a tactical (“I’m an animal leaving nigga’s brain dead, out in the street with one boot and skully, looking like Waynehead”) barfest with each line delivered with a titled mission. However, D.O.T.’s 3rd round one-ups his 2nd and with his stellar delivery, similes, showmanship and history (“You supreme? show up in court…Supreme…Court, I’ll harm you, I’ll be the first negro banging hammers in court nigga, that’s Thurgood Marshall!”) lessons staying on point, it’s another victory for Brooklyn and the Dot Mobb.

Verdict: D.O.T. (W) 2-1

Favorite line: D.O.T. – “Catch him while he boo loving, heart shot!”
