Riggz defeats Fliiko L

Recap: In a gritty and pretty intense at times battle that took way too long to finish (thanks mostly to crowd noise), after a spitfire, punch-heavy 1st round from Fliiko L, a Riggz who was never quite on his A-game still manages to squeeze in just enough rigid punchlines, dizzying schemes and hitting personals in both of the latter rounds (while also being helped by an elongated 3rd from Fliiko) to take advantage of a less potent Fliiko and edge this win on Bullpen.

Verdict: Riggz (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Riggz – “Nigga, I set the tone for having a pen inside the pen, I paved the way!”

Loso defeats Fliiko L

Recap: In this competitive 3-rounder from Bullpen, Loso get the 30 but Fliiko L made him earn it via a strong display of lofty esoteric darts, fiery punchlines, hardbody schemes/lyricism to keep things close. And for the most part, Fliiko also did himself a favor by staying away from the usual assortment of anti-Christian semantics that most battlers seem to use against a member of the 4 Horsemen. Still, after a long vacation away from the ring, a well-rested Loso just had too much in the tank for his opponent, using a versatile mix of jaunty name flips, well-research/piercing personals, stirring 4-bar setups, some daunting wordplay and a wide load of spiritually-laced, but still flexing punches to take each round along with what was an impressive win.

Verdict: Loso (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Loso – “Watch son crack under pressure, they gonna have to fix his dash, have I ever used profanity?, Bro I been cursed…with this gift I have!”

Brooklyn Carter defeats Fliiko L

Recap: Brooklyn Carter gets a nice road win, stealing on opponent Fliiko L with a steady stream of righteous punchlines and vociferous (“Oh I get it, he more like a leprechaun in a drought…out of luck!”) set-ups throughout his 3 rounds. That’s a well-earned win in this book as for all of Fliiko L’s confidence, after a close 1st, the few (“You could die from the set-up, it’s a conspiracy!”) shiners he managed to spit were surrounded by way too many basic bars in an elongated 2nd and 3rd.

Verdict: Brooklyn Carter (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Brooklyn Carter – “No Saga, I keep my palm greased!”

Chef Trez defeats Fliiko L

Recap: Figuratively speaking, Chef Trez versus Fliiko L is almost like a mirror match, what with both battlers love for salacious (Trez: “I’m talking about when I cock it, it look like I’m pulling on a stuck drawer!”) gun bars, steely aggression with ethir punches, (Fliiko L: “Nigger, you a rookie, I’m a vet, remind me of a little ass girl…ain’t get a body yet!”) boastful shiners/personals, similar builds and dark complexions. The outcome of this competitive 3-rounder, however, wouldn’t be a debatable as Trez’s more intricate bars, well crafted angles/schemes, richer performance and consistency with the heat would get him the 1st and 3rd rounds for the win.

Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Chef Trez – “Look bitch, I ain’t trying to wrestle, but you better clutch your toast, but with a beam, I’ll put a bright dot on black…that’s Dusty Rhodes!”
