Recap: From iBattleTV, in this 3-rounder versus Febou, JC utilizes a gang of wicked verbal death traps, boastful barbs, steely wordplay, sick metaphors and hard-hitting punchlines to handily beat back an opponent who scored every now and again with some witty personals, solid punches and earnest personalsm but was too often predictable, laborious and underwhelming punch-wise to stand any chance against JC’s heat.

Verdict: JC (W) 3-0

J Morr defeats Febou

Recap: From iBattle, outside of a competitive round 1 that the more condensed, efficient and rebuttal-lit J Morr still took anyway, there wasn’t much to see here. As thanks to Febou (who up to that point was really flexing his wit and versatility) losing his train of thought in round 2, regaining his bars early on, but still unleashing a mostly pedestrian turn before another unforced memory loss in round 3 by Febou forced him to cut that round short altogether, opponent J Morr’s continuosly gritty punch game, mocking/witty personals and sturdy street darts would eventually earn him all 3 rounds for the shutout even while he chose to cut his 3rd too due to his opponent’s mishap.

Verdict: J Morr (W) 3-0

Favorite line: J Morr – “Nigga, I was born in a home without an attic, basement or a father, I’m used to a halfway house!”

Tay Roc defeats Febou

Recap: In the midst of another holiday season and clearly in the spirit of giving, Tay Roc lets rising iBattle battler Febou have a crack at it and the up-n-comer doesn’t waste his opportunity. The spirited Massachusetts spitter giving it his all and staying competitiive during this 1-rounder with a gang of witty bars, spicy storytelling and wily personals/punchlines. But never one to underestimate any opponent, via a plethora of mayhem-lit compounds, syrupy name flips, some killer wordplay, rapid ‘AMG mode’ darts, raucous gun lines and mocking personals, it’s the more expansive, battle-tested and haymaker-lit Roc who gets the win.

Recap: In this 1-rounder from iBattleTV, Chilla Jones unleashes a torrent of lyrical finesse, using a consistent barrage of slick name flips when it came to his opponent’s nickname (i.e. ‘The Face’), consistently gritty punchlines and a well-knit weaving of wit and wordplay that sealed the victory over home team upstart Febou, who started off well and kept it competitive with a bunch of solid punches during the first half of his round before slowing own and faltering in the latter half thanks to a boatload of pedestrian bars.

Recap: A 1-rounder from iBattle features a pretty solid, punch-heavy at times and witty effort from home league fave Febou. But showing off once again that there’s levels to this shit, a turned up and a tad bit pissed off Geechi Gotti turns the tables on his opponent with a gritty barrage of hard-hitting personals, bodacious street raps, stinging punchlines, dope rebuttals and righteous haymakers to handily take the win.
