Real Deal defeats 100 Bulletz

Recap: If hardbody personals are your thing then this sizzling 3-round bout between Real Deal and 100 Bulletz will more than fit your palette. To think, this isn’t even about 2 guys with a history of disliking each other as much as it’s about a couple of veteran battle rappers simply doing their research. And whether it’s Real Deal going after his opponent’s lack of a Top Tier status in the game or Bulletz going straight for the guts with allegations on Real Deal exploiting his family members deaths during rap battles, when it came to anything goes in battle rap, both competitors came with it. That said, a debatable 2nd and 3rd round makes for a deciding 1st round, which Real Deal dishing an elongated, but still potent and a bit more versatile turn that ultimately got him the win.

Verdict: Real Deal (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Real Deal – “I violate her with my spawn when I finish on her face, I got her eyeliner looking like a widow’s at a wake!”

Steams defeats 100 Bulletz

Recap: The battle rap vet 100 Bulletz overall shines better with the (“You a maintennace man Kareem, so I know you ain’t gonna let the heater bust, if Mike P [pee] in the building, you gonna have to clean it up”) jokes than the bars, which edges him the 2nd round. However, it’s Steams, consistently working the body with hard (“A shootout is the only time I’ll check for Bulletz [bullets]!”) name flips, dope personals and some fiery (“What the fuck is a Bullet if the gun jam and the shooter pussy?”) wordplay/schemes, who easily takes the 1st and 3rd rounds for the dub.

Verdict: Steams (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Steams – “Hood nigga shit, and you from Canada, where good niggas live, health care free, how the fuck you planning to be sick as this?”

Chilla Jones defeats 100 Bulletz

Recap: Nice battle with a shitload of swift punches between Chilla Jones and 100 Bulletz. Chilla edges it in the end, but 100 Bulletz with quality (“I’m here to catch bodies and stack coffins, it’s like a watching a URL battle…let’s skip all the Smack talking”) punchline after (“Call me Carlton Banks? That’s cool, you gonna see snap with the Tom Jones”) punchline along with repeated quips on Chilla’s style, definitely made his opponent work for it. Still, altogether it’s better flow/deliveries/set-ups, more variety with the (“Words is weapons and these bars off the chain like nunchucks”) bars and less filler per the kid from Bosstown that gets him rounds 2 and 3 to take this KOTD matchup.

Verdict: Chilla Jones (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Chilla Jones – “This gun so big that if I load a clip and squeeze, it’ll pick Bulletz up off the ground like a Hitman remix!”

100 Bulletz defeats JC

Recap: 100 Bulletz takes advantage of a seemingly uninspired JC, whose shortened rounds weren’t helped by plenty of lackluster punchlines during his rounds. That’s not to take anything anyway from Bulletz, who despite a few predictable finisher’s here and there, especially within a superb 2nd round, overall made potent use of his punches, stinging (“I bet they still bring you crayons at Applebee’s!”) personals and wordplay to pull off the 30.

Verdict: 100 Bulletz (W) 3-0

Favorite line: 100 Bulletz – “I said little man bars are something you gotta deal with, so no matter how far you go to battle, it’s still technically a field trip!”

100 Bulletz defeats Charron

Recap: Close KOTD 3-rounder between 100 Bulletz and Charron goes Bulletz’ way as the Ontario rapper’s more coalesced breakdowns of his opponent’s rap style, condensed turns and spicy personals/punchlines do just enough damage to edge both of the opening’s over a Charron who until the 3rd round never quiet seemed on his A-game when it came to consistently piercing punchlines or personals.

Verdict: 100 Bulletz (W) 2-1

Favorite line: 100 Bulletz –  “In the paint sniffing, no, you in the paint sniffing my balls up in ya face pimp’in, I’m Blake Griffin!”
