Recap: While credit goes to C. Bri, who in spite of stumbling a bit throughout this Chrome 23 tournament battle, was still able to unleash some grimy haymakers and solid chain punches to make things competitive. That said, Bri didn’t stand a chance in this one. Because that’s how in her bag Bonnie Godiva was. The Yonkers, NY vet delivering a trio of superb, well-crafted rounds that showcased an exquisite pen what with its aggressive mix of fly rebuttals, fiery lyrical heat, gritty wordplay, hard punchlines and fire/witty personals to handily get the 30 and move on to the next round.

Recap: Viixen The Assassin solidifies her ‘Queen of the Midwest’ title with an absolutely brutal takedown of fellow Milwaukeen C Bri The Lyricist here in this 1-rounder from UBL Midwest. The aggressive lite-skin vet staying busy with a spicy palette of stifling punchlines, head-ringing performance bars, boastful barbs, hitting gun bars/wordplay and forceful vet talk towards a ‘newbie’ who recently went viral for all the wrong reasons. After her 8-plus minute onslaught, an emotional Viixen’s night would be capped by an overwhelmed C Bri choking away her round and the battle less than a minute in.

Recap: Aside from the unsportsmanlike touching on her opponent, C. Bri The Lyricist’s PG debut on the URL stage couldn’t have went any better. The confident Flint, Michigan emcee putting a hurting on a solid, but flow-challenged Yoshi G with a rich combo of piercing punchlines, stirring bully bars, scathing personals that broke down all the issues with that so-called ‘thot life’ and just in case you forgot her name…a gang of stellar lyrical heat to earn a 30.
