Recap: An admiration for fervent gun bars and residual mayhem made for a dope round 2 from King Beanz. But even Beanz best turn wasn’t enough for the litany of piercing punchlines, rigid name flips and sizzling set-ups/gun bars/wordplay from a Chef Trez who in this 3-rounder from GOTG and despite going 2nd, surprisingly enough came with very little rebuttals and won handily anyway.

Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 3-0

Drugz defeats King Beanz

Recap: Matching his loud and aggressive performance with perfunctory heaters, frenzied name flips, some witty barbs and jaunty punchlines, a more than confident Drugz easily beats back the gritty, but mostly pedestrian punches of King Beanz in this 1-rounder from Gates of the Garden.

Verdict: Drugz (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Drugz – “The 5 7 f-ing is blasting, to hook a beam, I ain’t no snitch, and the dog ain’t gonna tell…I’m in ya bushes Beanz!”

JC defeats King Beanz

Recap: Until round (“So if you see me it’s strapped, an assault rifle with the wood stock, no ski-mask, ‘cuz I wish a nigga would watch!”) 3, King Beanz proved to be much better with the jokes than the bars, leaving JC with more than enough room to dish continuously fiery (“You should’ve known better or shown effort, now the next time they see you, you’ll be see-through at Coachella!”) punches mixed in with some over-the-top (“You seen my shows, I hope you’re ready for this, ‘cuz I’m a let go of this body faster than a married Mexican chick!”) jokes in the first couple of rounds for an easy win.

Verdict: JC (W) 2-1

Favorite line: JC – “You see the problems I bring, you do not wanna be a nigga I target, I’ll get to climbing through the whole set like the intro on ‘Martin’!”
