Recap: Normally under-the-radar battle between J. Murda and Staccz received plenty of hype due to allegations surrounding Staccz seeking out Murda to buy bars from him some years back. And while you’d think that having a stain of purchasing bars on ya back might motivate a rapper, outside of a gritty, punch-heavy 3rd round by Staccz, this one was all Murda as the FTW capo (helped by his, by that point pretty listless opponent choking away his 2nd round) used a plethora of mocking personals, hard-hitting name flips, solid wordplay and rigid punchlines to prove the bite of his pen and easily take the opening rounds for the win.
