Recap: A Takeova Battle League primetime tournament judged semi-final battle between Aeon and Jay Love ends up being a goodie, while staying close till the end. Jay Love with a bunch of bullish raps, graphic street bars and peircing punches/personals kept the heat on her opponent throughout. While Aeon, outside of a bout with a little fumblitis in round 1, stayed cold in the latter rounds with a gang of killer name flips, fiendish wordplay, rich metaphors/similes and gritty punchlines. Coming down to round 3 after Jay Love took the opener before the slightly more haymaker-lit took round 2 to even things up, a little more cleaner, slick-talking and overall efficient Aeon edges the final round for the win.

Casey Jay defeats Jay Love

Recap: From Takeova Battle League, a pretty solid effort from We Go Hard’s Jay Love who utilized a bunch of sizzling name flips, gritty punches, unapologetic sexual darts and roughshod gun bars keep things competitive here against Casey Jay. But clearly turned up from the jump, the Bardashian reminded her opponent that there’s levels to this. Casey Jay straight spazzing in rounds 1 and 2 with a gang of scintillating/bullish punchlines, boastful barbs, wily/hard-hitting personals, flippant name flips of her own and other violent-themed bars to score more haymakers and edge both of the opening rounds, before Love returned the favor in the 3rd to avoid the shutout.

Verdict: Casey Jay (W) 2-1

First Lady Flamez defeats Jay Love

Recap: In this 3-rounder from We Go Hard both Jay Love and First Lady Flamez kick that gritty street shit to go along with a gang of piercing name flips, sexual innuendo’s and brash punchlines. A competitive battle throughout, with an added mix of brash personals and consistently festive wordplay, it’s Flamez who scores more haymakers in each round for the win.
