Recap: That ‘Where I’m from, Black lives still matter…unless that nigga still standing at the other side!’ line from gritty, Kid Chaos sound-alike Poppy G was hard. As was a bunch of other hardbody rhymes and storytelling bars by Mr. G in this 3-rounder from 5th Dimension Battle League. Too bad for Poppy tho, as a more condensed Emerson Kennedy spouting a gang of spirited, highly potent 4-bar punches to go along with fluorescent schemes and slick wordplay would be efficient in earning the 30.
