Ron Compton defeats Kid Chaos

Recap: Pretty solid, fiery effort from Kid Chaos with his stunting schemes and mocking personals gets beat back by a consistently spicy, name flip/gun bar-savvy and versatile punching Ron Compton in this competitive 1-rounder from The Grizz Exam Battles.

Verdict: Ron Compton (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Ron Compton – “I’m not a keyboard killer, but Command my respect!”

NXT defeats Ron Compton

Recap: The Riot Rap Battles Initiation PG matchup between NXT and Ron Compton is a dope one with Compton’s well-finessed/gritty punches and slices of wit combining to score a shitload of haymakers (esp. during a spitfire round 3 that he edged) and keep things competitive throughout the bout. However, with his spicy ‘demon’ talk lighting up the room left and right, aggressive/fiery punchlines, piercing name flips, steely gun bars and blistering personals that not only rocked the crowd, but on stage clearly hit a nerve or two, it’s NXT who’s able to edge both of the opening rounds for the win.

Verdict: NXT (W) 2-1

Favorite line: NXT – “Oh, you wanna fight?, I gotta right that’ll split ya face in, you wanna be blood brothers?, my hands cut for it, let’s get to shaking!”

Danny Myers defeats Ron Compton

Recap: Some crisp God/religious-angles and aggressive/solid wordplay here and there provides Ron Compton with enough juice to take round 2 here against Danny Myers. But a pretty medieval and more importantly condensed Myers, bent on boastful shiners, raucous punchlines and pent-up mayhem, was able to dish enough seismic heat to take the opening and final rounds for the win.

Verdict: Danny Myers (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Danny Myers – “Do you believe in a Parallel universe? I do, it’s insane patna, an OG said, ‘I can live life by diggin’ for jewels’, then he was killed by a grave robber!”

Yung Griz and Ron Compton [DEBATABLE]

Recap: Not as consistently punch/wordplay-heavy as his opponent Yung Griz, Ron Compton still has enough extra wit (“Nobody help him move shit…like he live upstairs!”), piercing 4-bar set-ups and fiery performance bars to stay competitive after a debatable 1st round and edge the 2nd round of this Riot Rap Battles matchup before the mayhem-rich Griz came back to take the 3rd and force a tie.

Verdict: TIE

Favorite line: Yung Griz – “Mob on me, y’all will be the Mafia for real…your whole family tied!”
