Benji Lolo defeats Robin Rhymes

Recap: “Shit, I could get a nigga but can’t keep a nigga, I gotta mouth on me!'”…a barrage of fiery/provocative punchlines, feelgood schemes and rigid name flips from Robin Rhymes in this 1-rounder from Kreo Battle League, certainly kept the crowd and her opponent in a frenzy, while keeping things competitive. But neither Rhymes’ rhymes or her sexy wardrobe could distract an aggressive Benji Lolo from consistently scoring with a plethora of stinging personals, wily name flips, witty burns, spicy set-ups and some piercing punches/gun bars to gain the win.

Benji Lolo defeats Reepah Rell

Recap: 1-rounder from Colosseum Battle League spotlights two dudes whose battle rap careers have been going in vastly different directions of late (the usually reliable Reepah Rell notably coming off some recent flat performances while gaining more fame online for his actions outside the stage, while the underrated Benji Lolo’s newfound performance stunts have lifted up his status and had him going viral) as Lolo’s witty/stinging punches, fiery schemes, mocking personals and wicked performance bars (capped by a fire Sub Zero, ‘teleport’ scene) lines him up for a bodybag after Rell chokes a couple of minutes into his round before choking again when given a 2nd chance to finish his turn minutes later.

Verdict: Benji Lolo (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Benji Lolo – “Nigga, don’t you sell cookies?, and they not even edible so technically you a Girl Scout!”

Pep and Benji Lolo [DEBATABLE]

Recap: Tho a little repetitive towards the end, the steady dishes of (“I’ll pop a few, I’ll let it fire in front of your family like I was cooking Hibachi food!”) mayhem and salacious name flips from Benji Lolo was certainly capable enough to warrant a win in this one-rounder versus Pep. However, along with a nice rebuttal, a palette of mean personals along with enough experience to save himself from a slip-up or twp, Pep’s overall ability to entertain with rapid punches and righteous indignation at his opponent’s more gritty bars during his turn allows for this one to go down as a split.

Verdict: TIE

Favorite line: Pep – “The difference between when you and I rap, these nigga’s is 100 percent sure that these is my rhymes!”
