Recap: From TOS Battle League, against a gritty and pretty solid punching Coach Corleone, Geechi Gotti is made to earn it. But meeting the challenge with a gang of hard-hitting boastful chatter, steely street raps, lucid trap talk and a plethora of stinging punchlines, the Compton, CA, vet is able to efficently score a couple of more haymakers and get the win in this competitive 1-rounder.

Verdict: Geechi Gotti (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Geechi Gotti – “I’m talking a real dope boy, if I din’t have pyrex, we using ice with the pitcher, all my real nigga’s know when you cook it the rock never came back white, it was tan like this light-skin nigga!”

B. Magic defeats Coach Corleone

Recap: A real goodie here from RBE’s ‘Divide and Conquer’ card between B. Magic and Coach Corleone. Bagin bringing a shitload of killer 4-bar set-up/punchlines and crazy name flips, while Corleoen made his mark with a bunch of sturdy similes and relentless mayhem when came to the punches. Close and competitive throughtout, it’s a more haymaker-lit Corleone who takes the first round, before Magic turned it up when it came to steadier/hard-hitting punchlines (esp in round 3) to take both of the latter rounds for the win.

Verdict: B. Magic (W) 2-1

Favorite line: B. Magic – “Think this pump fake?, I don’t hesitate, I mean it’s really ‘fuck you cuz’ like Kevin Gates!”

Coach Corleone defeats Steams

Recap: Call this a tale of two halves as Steams’ potent punches and sizzling name flips easily gets him round one over a more bark than his bite Coach Corleone. 2nd round sees the story begin to flip however as the N.Y. rapper, while still delivering more fire lines, struggles with his flow, leaving his opponent with enough room to take the round with less intricate, but still dramatic bully bars, fiery (“You like Lebron wife, sleeping on a nigger with all of them skills!”; “Fuck your team, I’ll have .25 sent [cent] for the Cake!”) wit and dogmatic street theater. Going into the last tied, a still stumbling Steams needs an able assist from Prep to complete his round, giving an admittedly better as the battle progressed and consistently solid Coach Corleone the come-from-behind-win.

Verdict: Coach Corleone (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Steams – “I’m not worried about you aggress-ing me nigger, LeBron James and Ty Lue, this Coach can only talk to the rest of these nigger’s!”
