Shotgun Suge defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: From URL’s Kings vs. Queens 3 card, Shotgun Suge uses a fiery and aggressive barrage of stifling name flips, dizzying trap talk, rude personals, understated wordplay and bruising bully bars to take the 1st and 3rd rounds for the win over an just-as-aggressive, mostly punch/personal-heavy (esp. in round 2 which earned her a debatable) and overall pretty solid, but not as consistently spicy Ms. Miami (who really needs to learn how to handle the crowd when they’re showing her love).

Verdict: Shotgun Suge (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Shotgun Suge – “My first bank account was under my mattress!”

Ms. Miami defeats Lady Caution

Recap: The bars are always there. But once again displaying a lack of preparation via slip-ups and a super costly 3rd round choke, in an otherwise brazen battle that was spicy and mayhem-lit with the punches through and through, Lady Caution’s final round blunder would serve as the difference in losing this 3-rounder to Ms. Miami.

Verdict: Ms. Miami (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Ms. Miami – “Don’t ever play with my money, you’ll end up on the wrong side of my mood swings!”

Ill Will defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: While a brazen, hardbody showing here by Ms. Miami (her 3rd round being her best) here should warrant her receiving more plates from battle leagues in the future, a battling-for-the-second-time-in-one-day Ill Will not only impresses with his rife for spitting bars, but also with a barrage of braggadocios sexual exploits, head-ringing punchlines, witty/boastful darts, piercing name flips and festive gun bars, giving Will, more importantly, enough distinguished and consistent heat to take the first 2 rounds for the win in this Born Legacy bout from URL.

Verdict: Ill Will (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Ill Will – “Your name is Ms. Miami from Queens, what’s the reason?, Hi, my name is Mr. Oklahoma from Cleveland!”

E-Hart defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: Unafraid to stamp her mark in the female battle rap game, hitting with visceral punches left and right all the while dishing some extra heat with piercing name flips as well as hard gun bars, E-Hart easily beats back a solid at times, but inconsistent Ms. Miami in this 1-rounder from Step Your Ink Game Up.

Verdict: E-Hart (W) 1-0

Favorite line: E-Hart – “I threw her in the trunk, where no one could hear the screams, then burnt the body, in a dark place where nobody care or seen [kerosene]!”

Casey Jay defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: Damn, never seen anyone react the way Ms. Miami did at being called friendly here. Oh well and good thing too as a no-holds-barred Casey Jay was able to brush the brazen theatrics of her opponent aside, never get off her game, spout a gang of flashy gun bars, stifling punchlines, boastful barbs and piercing name flips in both of the opening rounds (Jay’s 3rd was dope too, but a slightly more condensed and punch-heavier Miami edged that one) on her way to a win in this competitive 3-rounder from QOTR.

Verdict: Casey Jay (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Casey Jay – “I’m the illest at this shit, that’s why they keep calling my jack, they wouldn’t keep flying me from Texas if these bitches could rap!”

O’fficial defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: Comfortably nested for one round in the Quiet Room, O’fficial still manages to unleash an aggressive barrage of piercing name flips, sizzling gun bars and bruising punchlines to gain the win over a gritty, but unsteady Ms. Miami.

Verdict: O’fficial (W) 1-0

Favorite line: O’fficial – “I’ll leave Miami fucked up…like Spring break!”

Viixen The Assassin defeats Ms. Miami

Recap: From MeleeTV/URL, Ms Miami’s gritty punches kept things competitive, but in one the best, punch-lit performances we’ve seen from her to date, Viixen The Assassin’s steadily spicy bars (mixed in with some fiery gun bars and dope 4-bar set-ups) over the course of 3 rounds gives the Milwaukee emcee a well-earned 30.

Verdict: Viixen The Assassin (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Viixen The Assassin – “In Milwaukee, you gonna show some respect, everybody wanna be the Queen on the card until they Decked!”
