Recap: From Black Ice Cartel, a fiery 3-rounder between Arsonal and Killa B that featured a bunch of gritty punchlines, brash personals, fierce gun bars, hard street shit, ill trap talk and a lesson for all those battlers who still wanna go at Arsonal (all these years later) for getting pressed by Trick Trick during his battle vs. Calicoe in Detroit: try to be more creative about it than Killa B does here. That said, despite a gang of subpar punching from both battlers at times, a competitive bout that saw them split (Ars edging round 1 before Killa B returned the favor in the 2nd) the opening rounds, sees the more haymaker-lit and efficient Rebel taking the deciding 3rd round for the win.

Verdict: Arsonal (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Arsonal – “Remy Ma is why you never hold a bitch down through a whole bid!”

B. Magic defeats Killa B

Recap: From Black Iec Cartel, against a boatload of gritty (that ‘Lil Mermaid’ line in round 1 was particuraly fire) punchlines and solid name flips from Killa B, a confident and slightly more condensed B. Magic hangs in there, survives a slight slip-up in round 2 and with steadier barrage of spitfuire punches, soem sizzling wordplay and sporty name flips/similes of his own, edges rounds 1 and 3 for the win.

Verdict: B. Magic (W) 2-1

Favorite line: B. Magic – “I’m a big dog, come get your shitzu by the spot!”

Danny Myers defeats Killa B

Recap: From BrooklynBorn MC’s/Verbal Warfare, Danny Myers uses a versatile performance of gruesome/mayhem-lit punches, bombastic gun bars, expansive name flips and hard-hitting/witty similes/personals to take the first two rounds and beat back a gritty and punch-heavy at times, but less steady (until round 3 anyway, which he edged) effort from Killa B.

Verdict: Danny Myers (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Danny Myers – “Hold up your posture nigga, or get cracked until your head leak, big pistol, I keep fucking with the baby like a deadbeat!”

Killa B defeats Ty Law

Recap: In a close and fiery battle dipped with plenty of hot (TL: “I felt my cornea open, never, ever sleep, I forgot the rest…like Born when he choking!”) punchlines and sizzling (KB: “I guess I could talk about your high top since it’s my turn, nigga just because you high top, don’t mean that you can’t get the side burn!”) wordplay, Killa B does just enough to edge rounds rounds 1 and 3, thus taking the win over a pretty solid Ty Law.

Verdict: Killa B (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Killa B – “Geek squad, I unlock Mac’s and open Apple’s!”

Glueazy defeats Killa B

Recap: After getting obliterated by Glueazy’s rapidly hard (“I’m gang-banging, over them white lines, like you lane changing!”) punches in the opening round, Killa B uses his own assortment of steady gun lines and aggressive (“You got bars that stick, but nothing Super Glue!”) shiners to make things close in rounds 2 and 3. However, a more consistent with his flow, rebuttal-savvy and overall more punch crazy Glueazy still manages to edge each round here for the 3-0.

Verdict: Glueazy (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Glueazy – “You asked for this, see?, strapped with them guns I’m silly, Vivica Fox…it’s gonna hurt when I let go 50!”
