Recap: Clearly focused from jump, Prez Mafia uses a condensed and consistent gang of rambunctious punchlines, delicious mayhem and potent name flips to beat back a wily and hitting at times, but altogether unsteady effort from Primetime in this 1-rounder from Gates of the Garden.
Verdict: Prez Mafia (W) 1-0
Favorite line: Prez Mafia – “I set trends, you about to see a bullet more from ear to ear, from time to Time…I only shoot it here and there!”
Recap: Slinging a whole lot of mayhem with the bars in addition to a gang of gritty punchlines, Primetime makes for a solid effort here in this Renegade Rap Battles 1-round matchup versus Ill Will. But with the ability to score more consistently with the punches, extra diverse with the heat, condensed, witty and much nicer than his opponent when it comes to name flips, Ill Will easily wins what was altogether still a competitive showing.
Verdict: Ill Will (W) 1-0
Favorite line: Ill Will – “You was just a waterboy, Bobby Boucher, I’m showing you, I’m your father today, big machete, get Time in a half…that’s holiday pay!”
Recap: Solid turns from both (“You will get snapped on in one round, that’s a hubcap!”) (“Now I would call you a moolie, but you look like some shit I ain’t make up yet!”) Primetime and Jakkboy Maine in this one-rounder from Body Bag Battle League, gets edged by Jakk, who along with a gift for lofty punches and some crazy schemes, came one better when it came to fiery wordplay and overall, a more sporty performance.
