Recap: Can’t front, I was looking forward to seeing a version of that ‘Squad’ scheme Your Honor has made famous. And while we missed out on that, The District’s favorite did give us a newfound (and hilarious) way of talking through your round when you’ve forgotten your bars, as he did here vs. Ill Will in the 3rd. Not that better preparation would’ve mattered much as outside of a dope opener to force a debatable 1st round, this one was all Ill Will as Yak-town’s finest pulled off yet another sublime display of stifling punchlines, raucous darts, sizzling name flips and festering personals that more than left their mark to handily take the latter two rounds for the win.
Verdict: Ill Will (W) 2-1
