Recap: From URL’s Born Legacy Northwest card, putting on a movie for a lit Seattle crowd that was into the battle from jump, Danny Myers and Jey The Nitewing give the fans their money’s worth with a gang of gritty punchlines, spirited mayhem and boastful barbs that kept the battle close and spicy throughout. However, while Danny added some solid rebuttals to the mix, for the first couple of rounds Jey’s hard-hitting/mocking personals, fire metaphors/analytical schemes and slightly more consistent darts would be the difference, allowing Mr. Nitewing to take the first two rounds for the win before a stellar and more punch-heavy turn by Danny in round 3 would prevent the shutout.
Verdict: Jey The Nitewing (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Jey The Nitewing – “I gotta answer to these people, you don’t, that’s the difference between being a God and a King!”
