Recap: Ummm, not exactly sure what happened at the end there, but all in all Tay Roc vs. Jakkboy Maine on URL’s ends up being a fire battle. Roc, almost exclusively in kill mode while changing cadences with the punches, delivered 3 rounds of straight heat with a shitload of graphic, mayhem-laced darts, gritty name flips, and flippant personals/gun bars. While Jakkboy met the top tier challenge with a fire wordplay throughout, some scintillating personals and fiery set-up/punchlines that with its accompanied soundscape oftentimes wrecked the room. A close bout throughout, it’s the slightly more haymaker-lit Roc who takes rounds 1 and 2 for the win before what looked to be clear vic for Maine in round 3 was spolied by a couple of last-minute slip-ups, making the final round a debateable.
Verdict: Tay Roc (W) 2-1
