Recap: From Calicoe’s Black Mafia Battle League, Aye Verb makes all his haters a little nervous after utilixing some excellent wordplay and wily personals to edge round here versus JC. But after an elongated and mostly pedestrian opening round that had to fill the crowd with doubters, in both of the latter rounds JC gets back on his transcendent grind and gets back to business. The Michigan vet also using a gang of posturing personals, gritty punches, fiery storytelling/name-calling, boastful barbs and stinging gun bars in a more consistent fashion to handily take round 2 and even things out before doing the same in the deciding 3rd for the win against an opponent who had long before ran out of steam.
Verdict: JC (W) 2-1
Favorite line: JC – “It don’t take that much to be a man, try it once, nigga you ran from Hitman like he was a licensed one!”
