Recap: From URL’s N.O.M.E. XV card, in a long-awaited 3-rounder that was actually closer (scored round 2 as a debatable) than fans were given credit for. Despite a versatile and mostly competitive (until he got watered down in way too many pedestrian bars during the latter half of his 3rd) effort from John John Da Don, his opponent Fonz’s adds a boatload of spitfire babymama jokes/personals and other witty raps, a fly punch game, some fiery gun bars, rich storytelling, steely name flips and a bunch of boastful barbs to score more haymakers (in round rounds that were pretty evenly timed) in both rounds 1 and 3 for the win.
Verdict: Fonz (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Fonz – “These nigga’s is fake, oh he think ‘cuz we in NY that nigga’s is safe, well get in the paint, just know in that graveyard they don’t do no multiple choice, they just fill in the blanks!”
