Recap: The irony of Street Talk Ent booking Cortez (long known for his racy street talk) certainly wasn’t lost here. However, against an Ill Will who while getting off to a bit of a slow start in each of his 3 rounds, still managed to turn it up eventually and steadily score when it came to boastful barbs, bodacious punchlines, witty barbs and hitting name flips, Cort’s gritty darts, violent-themed bars and greasy wordplay wouldn’t hold up. Not in the first of couple of rounds anyway. Thus, a slightly more condensed Will scoring more haymakers to take the 1st and 2nd rounds for the win, before things got a little spicy, more personal and even off-the-dome-ish on both sides during a debatable 3rd.
Verdict: Ill Will (W) 2-1
