Recap: From CMC Battle League, in a 3-round battle that begs for plenty of spiffy wordplay what with Kitchen Qleen and Chef Trez facing each other, despite a gritty, competitive and sometimes witty effort from Qleen, the Chef’s richer palette of wily rebuttals (including 4 in round 2), consistently hard-hitting set-up/punchlines, fiery gun bars, piercing name flips and earnest street-themed bars are enough to take all 3 rounds for the win.
Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 3-0
