Recap: From Takeova Battle League, a fire and competitive 3-rounder between Chilla Jones and Rosenberg Raw that had an ill backstory what with Raw having worked for Chilla’s league as a commentator beforehand. That said, Chilla with the wily punches, spicy name flips, hitting personals and lofty gun bars and Raw with his signature bullish punch game, daunting street darts, witty barbs/personals and fly name flips/similes made this battle (which also had 1 or 2 solid rebuttals from each battler) close throughout. However, after a debatable and equally potent round 1, despite two pretty solid turns by Chilla, it’s the slightly more haymaker-lit Raw who edges both of the latter rounds for the win.
Verdict: Rosenberg Raw (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Rosenberg Raw – “My flow sick, so sick, I make ya baby mom’s suck my dick till her knees feel like Embiid’s after a road trip!”
