Recap: Ave and Th3 Saga, a couple of longtime battle vets and URL Proving Grounds alums, meet up for the first time for 3 rounds on Taveova Battle League. Saga, scoring throughout the bout with a bunch of fire name flips, some righteous personals, graphic/hard-hitting/scripture-based punches and solid gun bars more than held his own. On the other hand, while Ave’s noted punching power and braggadocious rhymes were often there, surprisingly after a debatable round 1, the former Cave Gang member would struggle mightily with his flow in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds, leaving an opening for the more consistently and condensed Saga with enough room to take both of the latter rounds for the win.
Verdict: Th3 Saga (W) 2-1
