Recap: From Takeova Battle League, running with a consistent (and often potent) theme all battle of his opponent Elijah Strait (who had some fire punches here and there) allegedly copying his style, but also hitting on all cylinders when it came to piercing name flips, wily gun bars, solid personals and most importantly crazy set-up/punchlines as well as fire similes, outside of a 3rd round that was a bit a close (but also taking advantage of Elijah’s frequent reaches and subpar punches, esp. in both of the earlier rounds) it’s a workmanlike showing by Rum Nitty that earns him the 30.

Verdict: Rum Nitty (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Rum Nitty – “Your life a lie, but you paint the image that you sliding daily and you some faithful Christian, that’s why we hate him really, nigger you not who you think you are…Clayton Bigsby!”

Danny Myers defeats Elijah Strait

Recap: From KOTD, in what was a gritty, aggresssive at times and competitive punch-fest, with the help of some fly name flips/schemes, a couple of solid rebuttals, piercing personals/gun bars and a festive parlay when it came to storytelling, an also steadier-hitting (esp. in round 2) Danny Myers does enough to take the first two rounds of this 3-rounder for the win before opponent Elijah Strait got back on his grind, after a mediocre 2nd, to out-punch Danny in the 3rd and avoid the shutout.

Verdict: Danny Myers (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Danny Myers – “I smoek rappers, the Glock’s gonna touch ya, I got shots for this fucker, we hid bodies where nigga’s be parking at, it’s lot to discover!”

NXT defeats Elijah Strait

Recap: NXT versus Elijah Strait on URL’s UM4 was a close one as both battlers brought a near equal amount of heat with the fiery wordplay, intricate schemes, potent punchlines and daunting mayhem. Add in some spicy semantics regarding religion with the ability to score with more haymakers and it’s ever loud and aggressive NXT who edges the opening rounds here for the win before Strait’s best round of the battle, his 3rd, makes this a 21.

Verdict: NXT (W) 2-1

Favorite line: NXT – “It gotta be a Dream if they say Elijah won [Olajuwon]!”
