Recap: In this highly anticipated (and much promoted, considering they got their own billboard) matchup from URL’s Genesis card, Geechi Gotti hits on all cylinders, using a consistent barrage of boastful barbs, witty/gritty name flips, gripping O.G. talk, mocking personals, some syrupy wordplay, real street shit and piercing punchlines over the course of 3 rounds to beat back a pretty solid, gun bar-lit and at times cunning with the punches, but too often tentative and pedestrian Nu Jerzey Twork.
Verdict: Geechi Gotti (W) 3-0
Favorite line: Geechi Gotti – “Aye, you beat up Norbes?, I really don’t care, I’m just tryin’ to figure out what that mean to a nigga that really clap things, shoot him, his body shut down, blood stream fucked up worser than Caffeine!”
