Recap: Th3 Saga’s been on quite a nice run of late, and his growing ability to break down an opponent’s game plan adds a welcome kick to this latest installment of himself (aka ‘Sensei Saga’). While Th3 Saga does struggle with a few elongated set-ups, here in this 3-rounder from GOTG against Alias, his punchline game itself is still terrifically effective. Add to that some ridiculous name flips and sublime wordplay throughout the battle (in braggadocios mode he was pretty solid as well), and if you’re left with a 30 over a strong at times and versatile opponent, who overall just could never match Saga’s potency.
Verdict: Th3 Saga (W) 3-0
Favorite line: Th3 Saga – “I’ll break ya chin, all that talking on Facebook had me more than pissed, your jaw get split, his head bop, with an unknown hook like ‘Who’s song is this?'”
