Recap: Dope battle between homogeneous battlers Chilla Jones and Kid Chaos on Smack Volume 8 ends up going Mr. Jones’ way as the Boston vet’s fiery punches, rigid personals, fire style breakdowns, flexing wordplay and oft-stellar name flips does just enough to beat his performance/scheme-heavy, also personal-lit and gun bar hitting, but elongated (esp. during a meandering round 1) opponent in the deciding round 3 (after Chaos had a sublime and haymaker rich 2nd round) for the win.
Verdict: Chilla Jones (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Chilla Jones – “No N.O.M.E.’s or Summer Madness’s, most your peers coming back for the second time, it seems Kid can’t keep up with his class, I thought it was No Child Left Behind!”
