Recap: In a sane world, Danny Myers would probably battle a little less. As recent performances have shown that the Bar God’s immense proclivity for battle rapping can sometimes effect his preparation. Still, here in this dope 1-rounder from GOTG vs. the Gun Titles 1st Lady Pristavia, there’s no doubt that Danny came to win. The West-coast vet delivering a strong and aggressive showing that featured a bunch of raucous punches, grimy personals, nitfy off-the-dome theatrics and all sorts of mayhem to keep the crowd in tune. That said, it wouldn’t be enough. Because you see, there’s a reason Pristavia is a rising star in this game. The Brooklyn rhyme-slinger blowing past a pretty solid effort from her opponent with a fiery barrage of mega-lit personals that touched on everything from fatherhood to Danny’s battle career, while also putting up haymakers with a plethora of fiesty wordplay, stinging set-ups and righteous, Christian-laced burners that put the God in God for a well-earned win.
