Recap: RBE presents King Los and Chef Trez going at it for 4 rounds (3 written’s, followed by a freestyle round) and altogether it’s a competitive barnburner. The ever-confident Los dishing plenty of righteous boasts, a variety of hard name flips, esoteric raps, solid wordplay and gritty punchlines, when he wasn’t also suffering from some pedestrain bars and flexing with some off-the-dome heat. On the other hand the Chef kept it cooking with a gang of fiery gun bars, wily personals, crazy schemes, killer freestyles/rebuttals, versatile name flips of his own and steely set-up/punchlines that for the most part landed. That said, outside of a debatable round 2, it’s Trez who ends up taking this one/ The ATL vet scoring more haymakers in rounds 1 and 3 to take them both, before edging a close back-n-forth in the freestyle-mandated 4th round for the win.
Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 3-1
