Recap: From CMC Battle League, doing a Murda Mook and rapping straght for 20-plus minutes is always commendable and is certainly a flex when it comes to memory skills and endurance…but damn, really? Why not just make it a 3-rounder instead of a 1-rounder if as Piranha does here versus Tay Roc, rapping for like 25 minutes against an opponent who never does that type pf thing? Nonetheless, as Piranha displayed again here: put all the outside-the-ring BS aside, the Detroit battler can rap his ass off. And we see it again here what with a boatload of grimy punchlines, hard-hitting street darts, boastful barbs and a plethora of bold personals that pretty much covered Roc’s entire bag of past controversies. But as is the case like 90 percent of the time here: quality beats quantity. So while Piranha came through with an elongated turn that for the most part stayed lit with rampant haymakers here and there, it’s the slightly more consistetly hitting Roc, armed with a gang of fire metaphors, stinging name flips, flippant personals, head-splitting gun bars and greasy punches that takes it in the end.
Verdict: Tay Roc (W) 1-0
Favorite line: Tay Roc – “Potato on a barrel to Piranha make fish and clips!”
