Recap: From Public Influence Battle League, a 3-round battle between Snake Eyez and Swamp with some extra flair on the line what with a personal bet added to the mix. As for the battle itself, it was a goodie. Snake, tho a bit unbalanced what with an elongated round 1 and a shortened round 3, stayed agggressive throughout while dishing a gang of fiery verbal threats, mean personals and gritty punchlines. A pretty confident Swamp stayed on one, unloading a boatload of stinging gun bars, witty personasl, vociferous boasts, wily name flips and hard-hitting set-up.punchlines while boldly predicting the outcome. And it turns out that the landscaper/battler would be right as thanks in part to Snake’s oft-filler (esp. in the opening round), the more haymaker-lit and condensed Swamp would take rounds 1 and 2 for the win before a debatable 3rd.
Verdict: Swamp (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Swamp – “If I spin this nigga block and don’t hit nuthin’ I’m reversing the whip, fuck getting even I’m a get at him, even in the Bible that snake talk only work on a bitch!”
