Recap: From Bags and Bodies, E-Hart and Shotgun Suge in a competitive 3-rounder filled with plenty of fiery gun bars, gritty street talk, solid name flips and mocking/witty personals from both battlers. And while Suge kept it pretty succinct throughout, while Hart on the other was a little elongated, nonetheless the battle stayed close. Still, it’s the more haymaker-lit Suge who takes round 1. Round 2 would see Hart up her wordplay and punch game, but a surprising couple of slip-ups mid-round by the Bronx vet would hand Suge the edge (and the win) in what was otherwise a very winnable round. Continuing to flex her hard-hitting raps in a consistent and clean fashion in the 3rd would allow Hart to salvage the round, despite a pretty solid effort from Suge.
Verdict: Shotgun Suge (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Shotgun Suge – “You thought you was gonna beat me, what that ’bout?, I feel right at home we had bags and bodies at my trap house!”
