Recap: From WestWorldBattleRap, yeah gotta agree with many of the commenters on this one: considering all the foul language and cuss words often used in battle rap, who’s brilliant idea was it to have all those kids on stage during this 3-rounder between Jerry Wess and Cali Smoov?!? That said, Smoov with his usual emotionally-bent struggle bars, a solid punch game, personals themed around his opponent’s battle career and in this case, also paying homage to the late Billy Boondocks, kept it competitive throughout. However, via a stronger and more consistently-lit punchfest as well as some witty barbs, hitting schemes and some piercing name flips, it’s Mr. Wess to takes rounds 1 and 2 for the win before a slightly more spicy Smoov edged the 3rd to avoid the shutout.
