Recap: In this tight 3-rounder from Ruin Your Day, Footz and Mazi both get busy and competitive with a gang of fiery name flips, gritty punchlines, rich metaphors, slinging gun bars and boastful/violent-themed (Footz: “Knock his teeth, you gonna need whole new fronts, you ain’t learn ya lesson fucking with the Repo man?, I already told you once!”) darts. Add some flair with plenty of verbal linguistics from both battlers and outside of Footz struggling a but with his flow at times, this one stayed heated. That said, an equally fierce and punch-heavy turn from Mazi and Footz makes for a debatable round 1. Afterwards, the slightly more haymaker-lit Footz manages to edge round 2 before Mazt comes back and returns the favor in round 3 to make this one even.
Verdict: TIE
Favorite line: Mazi – “You got a problem?, lemme take a stab at it, remain calm, you got a knife in this shoe? well the blade poking outta Footz…James Bond!”
