Recap: From Takeova Battle League, T-Rex with his usual assortment of hard street rhymes, frenzied drug tales and wily punches versus Ave and his robust punch game, boastful barbs and strident street themes makes for a competitive battle…for one round anyway. But after a debatable round 1, it’s pretty much all Ave at that point. The Norfolk, VA, battler continuously scoring with an aggressive, righteous at times, personal-heavy and haymaker-lit 2nd and 3rd rounds to easily overcome a way more pedestrian Rex to take each of the final rounds for the win.
