Recap: From Takeova Battle League, Harlem vs Harlem, Dot Mobb vs former Dot Mobb, Snake Eyez vs T-Rex in a very fiery, personal and competitive 3-rounder. And while Snake delivered his usual m.o. of hard, aggressive punches, grimy street themes and festive personals, a motivated (and performative) Rex came back with 3 rounds of in-ya-face boasts, witty barbs, stinging name flips/personals and piercing trap talk. That said, a haymaker-lit-on-both-sides round 1 make for a debatable turn. However, while both battlers kept it gully in the latter two rounds, it’s the less filler-prone, punch-heavy, versatile and slightly more condensed Rex who edged them both for the win.
Verdict: T-Rex (W) 2-1
Favorite line: T-Rex – “My guys keep a Glock 9 and an extra one just in case I tell then that I forgot mine!”
