Recap: From Takeova Battle League, a competitive 3-rounder between (in what’s supposed to be her final battle before retiring) Pristavia and Shooney da Rapper that featured little (if any) name flips from Pristavia and a strong rebuttal game from Shooney. Close throughout with the Gun Titles vixen weaving religious themes with rich set-up/punchlines, some nasty personals, fierce schemes and piercing gun bars/similes. Shooney on the other hand came with a brash bag of tricks that included some mocking personals, mean punches and scathing disses/screeds that were mixed with violent darts and boastful barbs. A tight round 1 was edged by the slightly more haymaker-lit Pristavia. But despite another two pretty solid rounds by her opponent, it’s the more witty, versatile and slightly more steady hitting Shooney who edges rounds 2 and 3 for the comeback win.
Verdict: Shooney Da Rapper (W) 2-1
