Recap: From the Fight Back Arena, a couple of performance-heavy vets, Mo Mula and Jakkboy Maine, go at for 3 rounds and it’s a goodie that stayed close throughout. But while Mula’s witty punches/personals, gritty darts, solid rebuttals/name flips and Bronx-driven street bars kept him competitive, Jakk’s slightly more consistent Satanic verses, graphic mayhem, NY disses, piercing wordplay/set-up punchlines and more hitting name flips allowed him to edge rounds 1 and 2 for win before a more haymaker-landing Mula took the 3rd to avoid the shutout.
Verdict: Jakkboy Maine (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Jakkboy Maine – “Nigga you gonna die, but if you don’t want to muthafucka then I can school ya, I’m not a tutor, but I done did everything by the book to avoid computers!”
