Recap: Swamp’s more versatile performance, blending boastful barbs, rugged trap talk, hard-hitting/witty personals, and gritty punchlines, earned him just enough haymakers to edge Kyd Slade, taking rounds 1 and 3 (with the 2nd being debatable) for the win in this 3-round battle from URL’s Redemption 5 card. As while Slade kept it competitive, what with constant aggression and his signature “plug talk” on display throughout the bout, the CT battler’s inconsistency with the similes and less cohesive transitions made his rounds too reliant on his calling card and less diversified than his opponent, ultimately costing him in the end.
