Recap: In this (especially on Chess’ part) highly-anticipated 3-rounder from the Re-Up, A. Ward and and Chess go at it for 3 fiery and competitive rounds. The Four Horseman and current COTY delighting the crowd with a bunch of dope rebuttals/freestyles, braggadocious darts, stinging personals, wily/Christian-themed punches and spirited (but sometimes indirect) pontifications. While Chess flipped the script with a gang of violent-themed bangers, witty barbs, potent gun bars, versatile name flips, gritty wordplay, fierce 4-bar set-up/punchlines, rich storytelling bars, a couple of surprising but pretty solid rebuttals and robust personals of his own. Close throughout, it’s the slightly more efficient and haymaker-lit Chess who edges both of the opening rounds for the win, before a more steady hitting A. Ward took the 3rd.
