Recap: From Bar You To Death Battle League, a mid-battle kerfuffle and plenty of tension in the room between Showoff and Jakkboy Maine makes for a pretty entertaining bout for 3 rounds. Too bad, after edging round 1 Showoff couldn’t keep his end of the bargain. The RBE capo going mid (after a barrage of sizzling wordplay, righteous boasts and hitting punches in the opener) and settling for an aggressive, but mostly pedestrian display of punches in the latter two rounds, leaving Maine with a more condensed and stinging barrage of fiendish wordplay/punchlines, feelgood name flips, piercing.gun bars and greasy personals to take both rounds 2 and 3 for the comeback win.
Verdict: Jakkboy Maine (W) 2-1
