Recap: A Takeova Battle League primetime tournament judged semi-final battle between Aeon and Jay Love ends up being a goodie, while staying close till the end. Jay Love with a bunch of bullish raps, graphic street bars and peircing punches/personals kept the heat on her opponent throughout. While Aeon, outside of a bout with a little fumblitis in round 1, stayed cold in the latter rounds with a gang of killer name flips, fiendish wordplay, rich metaphors/similes and gritty punchlines. Coming down to round 3 after Jay Love took the opener before the slightly more haymaker-lit took round 2 to even things up, a little more cleaner, slick-talking and overall efficient Aeon edges the final round for the win.
