Recap: A fire 3-rounder brought to you from Public Influence Battle League between Kyd Slade and Ave satyed close and competitive for all 3 rounds. Ave (who gets some extra credit here for not utilizing the resident ‘snitch’ angle we often see against Kyd), flexing and aggresive as usual with an elite punch game, syrupy name flips, solid wordplay and boastful barbs, kept it consistently gritty. While Slade in the face of his opponent’s heat came back with a boatload of sizzling trap talk, sturdy/violent-themed street lines, stinging punches of his own and hardbody gun bars/name flips. That said, it’s Slade who turned it up to remarkedly out-punch a pretty dope Ave in round 1, before a more haymaker-lit Ave tied things up in the 2nd. However, helped by a little more filler and here and there by Ave in what was otherwise another fly round, the slightly more steadily-lit Slade edges the 3rd for the win.
